1. Who We Are
This notice explains how Markhouse ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and retains personal data submitted through our website, email, or direct communication, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
2. What We Collect
- Contact form submissions: full name, company name, work email, phone number, what you're looking for, estimated volume, and your message. These are stored in our database in addition to being emailed to us.
- Order-related information shared over email or direct communication once an inquiry becomes an order: delivery address, brand assets (logo files, brand colors), and specifications needed for production and delivery.
- We don't use tracking cookies or third-party analytics on this site, so we don't collect browsing behavior beyond what's submitted directly to us.
3. Why We Collect It
- To respond to your inquiry and prepare a quote.
- To fulfil an order once confirmed — production, artwork approval, delivery, and GST invoicing.
- We don't collect any data beyond what's needed for these two purposes.
4. How We Use It
Your data is used solely to respond to your inquiry or fulfil your order. It is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. It's shared only with suppliers and courier partners strictly necessary to produce and deliver your order, and only the details each of them needs to do that job.
Within Markhouse, stored inquiries and orders are visible only through a password-protected internal tool used by the one or two people who handle inquiries and orders day to day — it isn't accessible to anyone else, indexed by search engines, or exposed publicly.
5. How Long We Keep It
Contact form submissions are retained for up to 24 months from submission — long enough to follow up and keep a record of past conversations — then deleted, unless they've become an order. Order-related data is retained for the duration of the business relationship plus any period required by applicable tax and accounting law (GST records, for example), after which it's deleted or anonymized.
6. Your Rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or erase the personal data we hold about you, or ask what data we have on file. Email the contact below and we'll respond within one working day.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data you share with us against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to data on a need-to-know basis and don't retain it longer than described above.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date above.
